SI Film and TV Workforce Training Program
During the spring of 2025, 46 participants completed the 80-hour training to serve as production assistants in Southern Illinois and throughout the State of Illinois to strengthen the regional film and TV industry.
Additional training will be held in spring of 2026. Applications will be available in February 2026.
Participant Requirements:
- Over the age of 18 with a verifiable high school diploma or GED.
- Plans to work in the State of Illinois' film and TV industry.
- Available to participate in ALL 80 hours of the training.
- Complete future employment surveys.
Stipend available upon completion of the program.
Applicants are not guaranteed acceptance into the program.
